About 52nd ETDS

The ETDS (European Tournament for Dancing Students) is an international ballroom competition, hosting around 600 participants from several European countries. In the 52nd edition in October 2014, we warmly invite you to spend your weekend at our Extra Terrestrial Dance Station, which is located in Monheim, a small city near Duesseldorf.

After your arrival on 10th October 2014 in Monheim, you will check in at our Extra Terrestrial Dance Station with your boarding pass and drop off your luggage. Participants who do not have a dance partner can participate in our blind date program which is held during the practise night on Friday evening. The Standard competition will be held on Saturday, the Latin competition on Sunday. The competition ends with the Mouse ceremony on Sunday evening, nominating the best team of dancers.

The 52nd ETDS has the theme "Space" which has a special story dedicated to an alien called Melvin who recently became a good friend of the Mouse. Read more about the story and the theme.
