Breitensport competitions target all dancers from beginner level to a more advanced level, e. g. current or former participants from dancing courses at dancing schools, university courses or Breitensport classes in clubs or similar. During the qualification rounds, dancers will qualify for one out of three Breitensport classes (Amateurs (lowest), Professionals, Masters and Champions (highest)) depending on their level of dancing.
Dancers who have danced at least three times in the Champions final during the last five ETDS are obliged to participate in the CloseD class.
A blind date program will be held on Friday and Saturday evening to find a dancing partner for the Breitensport competition.
If there is any uncertainty which class is the right one for you, have a look at the document "Classification details".
