New to ETDS
I am new to the ETDS and do not have a teamcaptain. What should I do?

Am I good enough to compete against other dancers?
Don't worry: We offer competitions for beginner level, intermediate and advanced level as well as for dancers with competition license. During the qualification rounds, you will qualify for one of the Breitensport competitions depending on your level of dancing. Finally, you will only participate against dancers who have the same dancing level.
Can I dance in another class than the rules say?
It is possible to dance in a higher class, but it is not allowed to dance under your level. To choose the appropriate class for you, please have a look at the general rules.
What should I bring?

Can I buy dancing shoes, dancing clothes and accessories at the competition?
Yes, you can. There will be a sales booth from "TanzTaxi" on Saturday and Sunday.

Where can I get T-Shirts, mugs or towels?
You can either order T-shirts, mugs or towels together with the registration (please let your Teamcaptain know your wishes) or you can contact us at order_52etds@gmx.de to submit your order directly to the ETDS Team.
Can I bring my child?
Yes. We'll have a playing corner and plan to offer a babysitter for the weekend. This is a special service for children up to three years. For organisational reasons, we kindly ask you to get in contact with us in advance via e-mail.
Can we use a collective bank transfer?
If you experience problems with the individual bank transfer due to exchange rates, please ask your teamcaptain. He or she than should contact us by e-mail.
Are minor participants allowed to come to the ETDS?
Participants under 16 years are not allowed.
Participants, which are at least 16 need a permission and educational mandate from their parents.
